The one thing that I don't really like about the automatic litter boxes is that it seems like they will cost you a bunch of money down the road by having to purchase machine specific supplies. They do try to sell the machines at reasonable prices. But, once you won the box, you are going to have to keep buying supplies to refill it. Over time the cost of filters and other materials can really add up. You just have to decide how much it is worth to you to make the process of cleaning up after your cat that much easier. They are a decent deal, but some people will not agree. Research each one before making your final purchase decision.
